NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE

BISHOP BUDKA EPARCHIAL STEWARDSHIP SOCIETY INC. (BBESSI)

When:             Saturday, February 3, 2018

Time: Registration – 1:30pm to 2:00pm

Annual General Meeting – 2:00 pm

Where:        St. George’s Ukrainian Catholic Church Auditorium
214 Avenue M South, Saskatoon Saskatchewan

Who:   All members of a Ukrainian Catholic parish or mission within the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Saskatoon who are 18 years of age or older are entitled to attend and vote at the meeting.

Purpose:        This meeting is being called for the purposes of:

  • Approving the Financial Statement Reviewer’s Report and the Annual Financial Statements for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2017.
  • Appointing a Reviewer of our financial records for the next fiscal period
  • Approving Bylaws or Amendment to the Bylaws – none to consider for this Annual Meeting.
  • Reporting of activities and motions of the Directors to the membership
  • Electing Directors
  • For transacting such other business as may properly come before an Annual General Meeting.

Call for Nominations to the Board of Directors of Bishop Budka Eparchial Stewardship Society Inc.

The Board of Directors of the Bishop Budka Eparchial Stewardship Society Inc. (BBESSI) invites applications for an Executive Director.

We are seeking a highly motivated and ethical professional who will lead our organization in generating funds to achieve stewardship and fundraising goals of the Eparchy of Saskatoon.

The ideal candidate will be a charismatic leader and a strategic thinker who is able to mobilize fundraising initiatives and programs.  You have strong communication skills to enable you to foster strong relationships and networking opportunities. You have the creativity and initiative to motivate and promote the community awareness of the goals of BBESSI and the Eparchy of Saskatoon. The ideal candidate will also have a combination of formal education in Business and/or Communications and 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in the fundraising industry.  A CFRE designation would be an asset, as would a commitment to the Christian faith based doctrine, preferably Ukrainian Catholic. This position will ideally be based in Saskatoon, but some travel throughout the province will be required.

Compensation for this position will be dictated by the qualifications, education, skill set and experience brought to this position by the successful candidate.

Bishop Budka Eparchial Stewardship Society Inc. is an organization under the auspices of the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Saskatoon whose primary objective is to develop, organize and implement fundraising initiatives and programs for the purposes of enhancing Eparchial programs.
